Finally something good

Finally, some of the biggest organization and clubs on campus or putting an event this Saturday March 14th FAU that is worth the tuition fees: the Kaleidoscope Caribbean Carnival. lots of students are talking about it. this is suppose to be the biggest event that FAU has ever hosted. I heard that, Program Board, Black student Union, Konbit Kreyol hatian student organization, Caribbean student association and ALAS are working on this joint. i heard that they going to have alot of different types food from the Caribbean. they will also have a parade; i just hope that this parade is going to be good because the last parade for the homecoming was suck. Finally and event that will bring some exitment to this campus, cause campus does sucks. I wonder where all that money went. and i also heard that this carnival almost did not happen because FAU did not want to spend the money, but yet they spend it on stupid events that don't even make sence. students want to learn new cultures, meet new poeople, have fun, eat free food, enjoy more music by partying more. the fact in that Carnival we are able to do all that, that is awsome.

  1. Indeed it would suck to not have a parade and a party! The economy is in the shitter and good professors can possibly be getting the axe and this is the crap you care about? In my opinion, more funds are wasted giving people like you an education. In my opinion, people who do not possess proper grammar skills and bitch that the campus doesn't offer enough funded activity aren't the ones that I would be trusting to help us through the state of the economy. Who attends these events anyway? How much do they cost? I work two jobs and am a full time student. I'd much rather have a great professor next semester than worry about whether or not my Saturday night partying is paid for by FAU. Nuff said.
